The acquisition of another equipment company meant a new line of equipment to be manufactured and distributed by JLG, a series of multi-use mini-dumpers. This series also marked JLG’s first major attempt to appeal to the individual consumer market (small business- and homeowners, rather than fleet management and rental companies), a market that required an abridged version of the standard operation and safety manual included with equipment purchases.
As a longstanding leader in the access equipment space with an established list of clients, there are strict brand guidelines and publication policies in place, which any experimentation in format must be accompanied by traditional solutions.
